About the Instructor: Mr. Raúl Benavides-Haro (or “Mr. Benavides”) began his career in business
administration and accounting almost 30 years ago and is the founder and owner of his own accounting services business. Mr. Benavides is most passionate about helping, educating and empowering small business owners in his community. He strongly believes a prosperous business’ mission is one that creates wealth and a promising future for its investors and the communities it serves.
Mr. Benavides graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the executive program at Michigan State University. During all this time, Mr. Benavides has managed and controlled budgets of hundreds of millions of dollars that require advanced knowledge in accounting,
finance, planning, taxes, process improvement and much more. His academic credentials and extensive business experience more than prepares and qualifies Mr. Benavides to give back to the small business community.
