Event description

Facilitated by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division! The federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and youth employment standards which most employers in the U.S. are required to comply with. This virtual training covers common FLSA issues for new and small business such as hours worked, overtime pay, deductions, as well as a discussion of misclassification of independent contractors.  

Participants can ask questions using the Chat feature with a real time response.
