Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) Made Simple

Event description

This simple workshop will endeavor to explain when "Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence" (FOCI) as defined by the federal government may be an issue and when it may not.

This workshop is not designed for legal counsel. It is intended to raise awareness of potential FOCI situations and to assist firms in developing an understanding of items to discuss with their APEX Accelerator consultant. Special attention will be paid to:

1. Is FOCI an issue for my firm? 
2. The factors used in determining whether a company is under FOCI
3. Required form SF-328
4. DCSA FOCI mitigation instruments (a general overview of items covered in one of these agreements)
