Event description
You are invited to attend an in-person event hosted by the IRS about tax tools and resources to empower taxpayers. The presentation will be from6-7PM. There will be ample time to talk with presenters and other resource partners and sponsors. This event is FREE to the Wichita community, and refreshments will be provided.
- Avoid Ghost Preparers: Learn how to avoid becoming a victim of a dishonest tax preparers.
- Employee Retention Credit: Scam and promoter awareness and what to do if you think you have been victimized or submitted a claim you were not entitled to.
- Taxpayer Advocate Service: Learn how TAS assists taxpayers with tax problems they can't fix on their own.
- Hear from the Low-Income Tax Clinic about services they provide.
- Employment taxes: Learn about employment tax forms and deadlines to file and make deposits.
