Event description

Are you a small business owner looking to take your venture to the next level? This informative session, hosted in partnership with the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Program and the Penn State Small Business Development Center (SBDC), will equip you with the knowledge to navigate the world of federal funding and explore opportunities specifically designed to support small businesses like yours. This FREE event will take place in person at 200 Innovation Blvd., State College, PA 16802 with a Zoom option for anybody needing to join virtually.

Join us as we welcome representatives from both the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center (PASBDC) for an in-depth exploration of three key funding programs:

  •        SBA 7(a) Loan Program: Learn about the most popular SBA loan program, used for various business needs, from working capital to equipment purchases.
  •        SBA 504 Loan Program: Discover a program focused on financing fixed assets like real estate and machinery, with a focus on long-term, fixed-rate financing.
  •        SSBCI (State Small Business Credit Initiative) Funding: Explore resources offered through the PASBDC, funded by the SSBCI program, which provides technical assistance, counseling, and loans to help small businesses thrive.

Throughout this hour-long session, you'll gain insights on:

  •        Eligibility requirements for each program.
  •        The application process, including key steps and documents needed.
  •        Expert advice from SBA and PASBDC professionals on how to strengthen your application.
  •        Real-world examples of how these programs have helped small businesses succeed.
