Intro to Government Certifications: First Steps to Doing Business with the Federal Government:

This course will provide attendees with the steps needed to complete their preliminary registrations needed to do Federal contracting. Course content will include setting up a "login.gov" account, requesting a Universal Entity Identifier (UEI Number), registering in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and requesting a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code). Attendees will leave the course with good tips and tricks to ensure these registrations are seamless.

Introduction to State and Federal Contracting:

Join us for this informative workshop as we provide you an introduction on what is involved with getting started with State and Federal Government contracting. Topics to be discussed include identifying your industry and getting registered, small business certifications and eligibility with an emphasis on Veteran-owned businesses, marketing to the Federal and State Government, finding contracting opportunities, regulations, and resources available to assist.

Federal & State Small Business Certifications:

This session will provide an in-depth discussion of the specific eligibility criteria required to qualify for small business certifications as well as the registration process for the following: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) - federal Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) - federal Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) - state Woman Owned and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) (EDWOSB) - federal 8(a) Small Business - federal HUBZone small business - federal Small Business (SB)
