Women of Color Empowered: Inclusive After Hours Networking Event

Join us for "Women of Color Empowered: Inclusive Networking Event," part of Rhode Island Start-Up Week and partnered by RI Hub, Women's Fund, and Dragon Fly Events. This after-hours event, is dedicated to celebrating and supporting innovative women and leaders in business, with a special focus on women of color. Allies and ALL in support are warmly welcomed. Network with brilliant, multifaceted women who are thriving and breaking barriers in their careers and businesses.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Upon arrival all attendees are encouraged to write at least ( 1 - 3 )  needs or goals on a post-it note and place it on the wall. Whether or not you include your name is up to you. This activity is designed to help attendees find connections matched with their needs to achieve their next steps, be it in business, career or personal goals.

Engage in meaningful conversations, enjoy food provided by local women-owned businesses and be inspired by our special guest speaker (announced a week before), who will briefly share her journey of overcoming unique challenges as a woman of color & leader in Rhode Island.
