David Hoffmeier, a seasoned veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, leverages his expertise as a Procurement Contract Specialist and Certified VA Verification Counselor at the Oklahoma APEX Accelerator. Based at the Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center in Choctaw, David dedicates himself to assisting small businesses in navigating the complexities of government contracts at the federal, state, and local levels. With a focus on providing comprehensive marketing strategies and essential technical support, he equips these businesses to secure and execute contracts effectively. Since joining the Oklahoma APEX Accelerator in 1998, David has been instrumental in aiding countless clients, contributing to the generation of billions of dollars in government contract awards. This influx of contract funds plays a crucial role in job creation and retention for Oklahoma's workforce, with OkAPEX annually serving over 1,600 clients through more than 10,000 counseling sessions conducted by its dedicated coordinators.

Prior to his career with OkAPEX, Mr. Hoffmeier served with distinction in the U.S. Coast Guard for 11 years. His tenure included an esteemed role in the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. Following this, David continued his service aboard the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Woodrush, stationed in Sitka, Alaska. There, he and his team diligently managed the aids to navigation along the inside passage, spanning from Ketchikan to Haines & Skagway, showcasing his commitment to duty and operational excellence.
