One click on an email link can put your business’s operations and credibility in peril. Join us for an introductory look at basic cybersecurity readiness issues and strategies for small to medium size businesses to stay safe from cyber threats.

• Six myths about online safety including identifying cyber threats and how to prepare to make your business safer online
• The “Core Four” Cyber Readiness Strategies
• Overview of the Wyoming SBDC Cybersecurity for Small Business Program.

This session will be presented by Wyoming SBDC Network NE Regional Director, P.J. Burns, and Reference Services Specialist for CCPL, Becky Prelle.

Presenters: P.J. Burns is the NE Wyoming Director for the WY SBDC Network. She is a Wyoming native and is passionate about helping small business succeed. She has a background in marketing, Human Resources, strategic planning, leadership, and management. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and is also a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management.

Becky Prelle is a Reference Services Specialist at CCPL. She has worked at your library since 2001 and in 2023, became a liaison for Wyoming Library to Business, a community expert in Foundation Directory and Candid Trainer.
