Event description

Join Jeffrey Nabozny and Rogelio Colón from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division for an introduction to the Fair Labor Standards Act.   Discussion points will cover minimum wage requirements, overtime rules, child labor rules, allowed exemptions, and the new salary laws that were recently passed.

The FLSA is a landmine of potential liability for employers especially if you are not aware of its details and components. Employers need to ensure compliance with the FLSA because if they don’t, it can be very expensive. We suggest taking this course to avoid any pitfalls that can make you and your business liable.

Speakers:
Jeffrey Nabozny - U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division
Rogelio A Colón - U.S. Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division
