Description: This empowering 1.5-hour workshop virtual technical assistance training is designed to equip entrepreneurs and research faculty/staff with the essential skills and knowledge to leverage the federal SBIR/STTR non-dilutive grant funding program for the development of deep technologies rooted in fundamental science and engineering.
Throughout this workshop, participants will gain insights into the diverse technical areas eligible for funding, and learn strategies for crafting compelling proposals. Explore the distinct goals of the STTR and SBIR programs, including stimulating scientific and technological innovation, fostering cooperative research and development between small businesses and research institutions, and facilitating technology transfer.
The workshop is for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small businesses, and faculty/staff researchers.
