Event description
The Green Thumb Program is a fast-paced, four-week series that will teach you basic farming practices, so you can start your own business venture in agriculture and related industries.
This series will cover:
- Establishing your business plan
- Growing your products
- Packaging your food properly
- Marketing your business to take your goods from farm to table
At the completion of the program, eligible participants may apply for a County of Riverside Grant. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
You will be required to attend all four courses and meet with a business consultant one-on-one to qualify for the grant.
