August is Black Business Month – a time to acknowledge and appreciate black-owned businesses across the nation and their invaluable contributions to our economy. In honor of Black Business Month, Columbia VA Health Care System is delighted to be able to partner with the South Carolina District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to offer a workshop focused on empowering entrepreneurs and minority business owners through resources and initiatives. In this workshop, SC SBA Business Opportunity Specialist Angela Brewer will give an overview of all SBA programs, services, and resources available to assist small businesses.
