Event description

The SBA reported that in 2022 there was a 70% increase in industries eligible for set-asides for the women-owned small business federal contracting program, and in the private sector there has been an uptick in corporations participating in supplier diversity initiatives as well, in part due to their commitment to inclusivity, corporate social responsibility, and an interest in improving supply chain competiveness. We get a lot of questions about certification for women-owned and minority women-owned businesses, especially questions like:

  • What are the benefits?
  • What certifications are out there?
  • Which certification is right for you?
  • Do you need to be certified to contract in NH?
  • What if I want to contract in a bordering state?
  • Who can help get you certified?

Join our panel discussion on women-owned & minority women-owned small business certification for valuable insights into various certification types (both public and private), eligibility requirements, application assistance, and industry demand. Connect with state and federal experts to learn how these organizations can help connect certified businesses to federal agencies, other certified peers who are using certification to level up their revenue. Walk away with information that can save time and money while navigating the contracting landscape and the application process of supplier diversity certification!

You will meet:

  •        Cody Oliphant, NH Department of Transportation (NH DBE Certification)
  •        Dave Pease & Danielle Ruest, NH Apex Accelerator (Technical assistance provider for Federal WOSB and NH DOT DBE Certification)
  •        Theresa Pinto, NH Small Business Administration (Federal WOSB Certification)
