Presented by Bill McDonald, Area Director

Employee safety concerns regulations don’t just affect construction and manufacturing companies. EVERY small business with employees should be mindful of worker safety—whether it’s a store with ladders and heavy merchandise, a lawn care company with mowers and trimmers, or an office with cords and printers. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) provides guidance, resources, inspections, and sometimes penalties for failure to keep workers safe.

This session will:

  • Walk you through the inspection process
  • Discuss employer and employee rights and responsibilities
  • List top ten violations found (Heat injuries are rapidly rising as a top source of injuries)
  • Discuss how you can comply with OSHA regulations to ensure the best outcomes for your small business

If you register by 3p on 9/23/24 and your email address is correct, you will receive an Outlook invitation to this event, too.

This is a Microsoft Teams meeting. If you plan to join via a mobile device, please download the Teams app (requires a free Microsoft account) prior to the event.
