In Marketing Magic, small business owners will develpo a comprehensive understanding of digital and print marketing, starting from the basics and progressively delving into more complex aspects.
Topics in the course will include:
- foundational elements of digital marketing (including an understanding of target audiences)
- using social media for business, content planning, and engagement strategies
- basic graphic design (including creating visual content like logos and social media posts using tools such as Canva)
- designing effective business cards and print materials (emphasizing layout and branding)
- basics of photography and videography using smartphones (including composition and lighting, and basic videography, covering aspects of framing and sound recording)
- copywriting and messaging strategy for various platforms
- a practical guide to building and managing websites (introducing students to website creation platforms and content management)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- an overview of how AI can be leveraged in business (particularly in marketing and content creation)
- digital marketing strategy and analytics
