APEX Accelerator: Intro to Federal, State, and Local Government Contracting

Event description

In 2023, the Federal Government spent around $745 billion in government contracts. Yes, billion with a "B".  The Federal Government buys a lot of different products and services, too.

Interested in learning more about selling your products/services to the government? Come join us for a great event hosted by the Nebraska APEX Accelerator and presented by Lisa Tedesco from the Omaha SBA, for an introduction to the world of government contracting. In this recurring bi-monthly workshop, you will learn about the requirements, certifications, websites, and general information to see if this market is a good fit for you.

Event information:

This is a Hybrid event. The in-person portion will take place at Heartland Workforce Solutions (5752 Ames Ave., Omaha, NE 68104). The event will also be livestreamed via Zoom. Virtual attendees will be able to see the presentation and use the chat function but will be unable to use the microphone or video. We encourage in-person attendance if you are able.

The event details will be sent to you in a registration confirmation email after registering. The webinar link for the virtual option will be provided to you in your registration confirmation email. Additionally, you can click “Add to Calendar” at the top of the registration page after registering to add the event info (date, time, location, and virtual option link) directly to your eCalendar.

Registration Policies:

Virtual/Hybrid Event Access: Many of our events are offered either fully online or hybrid (with a virtual option). When you register for an event with a virtual option, this event page will update and include the webinar link. Additionally, you can click "Add to calendar" in the yellow bar that pops up after registering to save directly to your digital calendar. The webinar link will be included in the calendar invite.

Registration and Fees: Most APEX Accelerator events are free. If a payment is required for an event, attendees will be asked to pay through a third-party payment portal hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha. 

Refund Policy: If you wish to request a refund, please contact the conference organizer listed above to discuss. You may also elect to send a substitute in your place. If the event is cancelled, all fees will be returned.
