State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) Annual Report
This annual report describes the activities and performance of the STEP grant program.
About this document and download
The STEP annual reports include:
- The number and amount of grants made under the program during the preceding year
- A list of the States receiving a grant under the program during the preceding year, including the activities being performed with each grant
- The effect of each grant on the eligible small business concerns in the State receiving the grant
- The total return on investment for each State
- A description of best practices by States that showed high returns on investment and significant progress in helping more eligible small business concerns
The STEP Annual reports are reported yearly but the fiscal year of the STEP program has to end so that reports can be aggregated and will be reflected once they are closed out. This means fiscal years are delayed in the Annual reports.
