Textures

Content

Textures subtly reinforce the SBA brand while adding visual interest to backgrounds and other graphics. Each texture takes cues from the shape of the SBA logo to form repeating patterns that can stand on their own as a design element or melt into the background.

Textures also extend the SBA brand through their flexibility—they can be used at any scale, can be screen printed or embroidered, and can be incorporated into diagrams, illustrations, infographics, or ad concepts.

SBA’s textures are reminiscent of neoclassic design, an aesthetic movement that revived classical design motifs with new, modern sensibilities. The Tile and Corner textures draw inspiration Greek, Roman, colonial, and modernist art styles to create the postmodern patterns that feel both distinctly American and contemporary.
