WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, March 16th, the Office of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration will host a Regulatory Reform Roundtable in Milwaukee. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Schlitz Park, 1555 N Rivercenter Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53212. SBA Administrator Linda McMahon will be in attendance.   

The purpose of this event is to gain valuable insight into which specific federal regulatory burdens present the biggest barriers to small business growth. With these recommendations, Advocacy can better assist federal agencies in complying with President Trump’s directives to reduce burdensome regulations. Additionally, information compiled from this roundtable and others will help Advocacy generate a new report informing Congress and the public of the top regulatory issues for small businesses.  

“The SBA Office of Advocacy has a unique mission to be the voice of small business in federal regulations,” SBA Administrator Linda McMahon said. “It is an independent office working especially hard to make its resources known to small business owners all over the country. I encourage small business owners in greater Milwaukee to take advantage of this opportunity to inform Advocacy of their federal regulatory hardships.”
