deadline.  Anyone in Sevier County,

with damages caused by wildfires on Nov. 28 through Dec. 9, 2016 should apply for the disaster recovery loan program.
Also, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today that the Business Recovery Center in Sevier County, Tennessee will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Holiday.  SBA representatives at the Center can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and help businesses in completing the SBA application.  The Center is located as indicated below and will operate until further notice:

which is eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.  Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply only for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Blount, Cocke, Jefferson and Knox in

; Haywood and Swain counties in

North Carolina

SBA disaster loans are available to businesses of all sizes, most private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters to cover uninsured losses from the disaster.  Interest rates are as low as 3.125 percent for businesses, 2.5 percent for private nonprofit organizations, and 1.5 percent for homeowners and renters.  Loan terms can be up to 30 years.

or download the FEMA mobile app.  If the online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362.
