Daniel Krupnick
Associate Administrator
Mr. Krupnick serves as Associate Administrator for the Office of International Trade (OIT). In this role, he provides strategic direction and oversight on OIT programs, policies, and initiatives that support Administrator Guzman’s vision for expanding the ability of small businesses to compete in the global marketplace. In cooperation with other federal agencies and public- and private-sector groups, the Office works to encourage small business exports and to assist small businesses seeking to export. The major programs of the Office are Export Loans and the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP).
Prior to this role, Dan served as a Counselor to the Administrator. He was responsible for advising the Administrator and managing, directing, and coordinating a variety of high-level projects and policy issues which require an extraordinary degree of knowledge of the Administration's stance on a variety of small business programs and policy issues. Dan provided key support, strategic advice, and guidance to the Administrator and other senior agency personnel and was responsible for overseeing special projects to ensure that the work of the agency was aligned with the objectives of the Administrator and the White House.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from American University.
