About our office
The Office of Policy, Planning and Liaison (OPPL) is responsible for implementing small business government contracting legislation and policy through SBA regulations, and assisting in incorporating those changes in the Federal Acquisition Regulation and related acquisition databases. OPPL is also responsible for the Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) and the liaison with the Integrated Award Environment Configuration Control Board (IAE CCB).
The Office also establishes small business size standards for use in government contracting and throughout the federal government for other purposes, and establishing small business prime contracting goals for executive agencies, and reporting on their performance.
