Susan Pascale-Frechette, owner of Pods Swimming, led a nomadic swimming school all over Rhode Island. Her dream was to open the first privately-owned swimming school in Rhode Island where she could teach her students the joy of swimming both leisurely and competitively.

Susan secured an SBA 504 loan, investing approximately $900,000 of her own equity, and was able to build her own location that houses a full-size Olympic pool as well as a training pool.

Susan has over 1,400 clients and her model has been adopted by other entrepreneurs looking to build something similar in their own states.
