AGJ Systems & Networks, Inc. is a veteran-owned small business that specializes in network solutions and integration, hardware and software computer sales, and Web site design and hosting, founded as a partnership by Brian Alford and Arthur "Bud" Jones in May 2002.

The company was located at the Gulf Coast Business Technology Center, a business incubator in Biloxi where they occupied a 400 square-foot office and had one client. They are currently located in Gulfport, MS and have doubled the size of their offices which are currently staffed with 27 employees.

AJG currently supports a client base of over 40 websites and more than 160 commercial, federal, state, and local government customers in Mississippi as well as throughout the United States and Canada. 

AGJ received business counseling from the SBA. The business was financed with a $20,000 loan from Hancock Bank backed by the SBAExpress program. AGJ has received a SBA 7(a) Loan. and assistance from the SBA and South Mississippi Contract Procurement Center (SMCPC) to attain its first GSA IT contract.

The company has increased its useable workspace from a 400 square feet to a 9000 square foot facility, and is a veteran-owned business with a second office in Mobile, AL. The company continues to grow, with revenue increases exceeding $3.7 million in 2019. AGJ employs 27 full-time employees with an average salary over $51,000.



AGJ are active members in the community, participating in activities with area chambers, downtown development, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Technology Council.

AGJ is the recipient of the Governor’s Cup Award for Outstanding Small Business,  winner of the “Economic Excellence Outstanding Commercial Business” award from the Harrison County Development Commission, was selected as a finalist for the 2004 SBA’s Mississippi “Small Business of the Year”, a Gulf Coast Chamber Tapestry Technology Award Winner and was featured in Success Magazine as a Katrina Success Story during 2011.
