A-Tech Environmental Consulting Company Demonstrates Growth and True Resiliency

Casandra Williams, CEO/CFO of A-Tech Consulting, Inc. runs a fast-growing, full-service, environmental consulting firm providing a comprehensive array of services. A-Tech Consulting, Inc. developed and launched proprietary state-of-the-art technology to streamline project management, field work, data collection, and report-writing processes to provide client results accurately and quickly. Having multiple state and federal certifications and accreditations, Casandra’s approach emphasizes innovation, efficiency and productivity.

Overcoming an extremely difficult childhood having spent time in several group home facilities, Casandra refuses to be defined by this experience. Casandra is determined to overcome every challenge that comes her way and vows to create a legacy her family can be proud of. Casandra strives to create a strong work culture of character, leadership, innovation and flexibility for her growing company. She nurtures team growth and success by providing opportunities for learning, challenging the staff’s mindsets, welcoming diversity and even invests in business coaching so her team can learn and grow together; everything the company does is measured against its core values and mission statement including providing mentorship and opportunity to at-risk kids.

Under Casandra’s dynamic leadership, A-Tech Consulting, Inc. has experienced steady and strategic growth since it was founded in 2002. The company’s consistent growth is demonstrated by exceeding revenue growth goals, expanding staffing levels, and most recently in acquiring a 20,000 SF building using the SBA 504 loan program.  A-Tech Consulting, Inc. was listed on the 2018 and 2019 Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America and was named the 2019 SBA Orange County / Inland Empire Woman-Owned Business of the Year.

With statewide mandated COVID-19 business closures due to the pandemic, business was down significantly. The SBA Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan relief funding helped the company to stay afloat. Soon they were operational again, largely thanks to their SBA 504 loan building purchase with employees spread out and rotating work from home it allowed their emergency response services to remain intact. Searching for a business pivot during COVID, they began offering disinfection training and PPE training to hospitals and general industry workers. Later they began offering COVID surface testing for the built environment, acquiring permitting to analyze via Q-PCR in house.  They again expanded service offerings to the entertainment industry as they returned to work by providing COVID Compliance services for 25 productions. Casandra feels the biggest win was having no work related COVID contraction for any employees and to know their team was staying smart, healthy and successful. They have truly demonstrated resiliency during extremely difficult times.

Williams’ management and dedication to excellence extend beyond her company and into the community. Supporting and volunteering with a variety of local non-profit organizations, she is especially drawn to those providing services to fostered and troubled youth in Orange County and surrounding areas. Having spent time in several group home facilities as a child, Williams is passionate about providing mentorship and opportunity to at-risk kids.
