Robert Yannuzzi

Office of Veterans Business Development

Robert Yannuzzi serves as the Assistant Administrator for the Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD). 

In this role, he provides strategic direction and oversight on OVDB programs, policies, and initiatives for the SBA Administrator and other key officials. Robert oversees the OVBD team in developing and implementing policies and programs that equip veterans, servicemembers (active duty, National Guard, Reserve), and military spouse-owned small businesses with counseling and education, access to capital, and contracting opportunities.

Prior to the SBA, he worked in both state and local government as Mayor of Eddystone, Pennsylvania, Council Vice-president of Eddystone, Pennsylvania, Chief of Staff for Pennsylvania State Representative David M. Delloso, and Constituent Service Advisor to Pennsylvania State Representative Jennifer O’Mara. He also served on the Pennsylvania State Democratic Committee and served as the Secretary of the Veterans Caucus.

Robert has first-hand military experience, having served in the United States Navy as an enlisted submarine sailor. He served as a Missile Technician on the Louisiana (Blue Crew) where he worked with Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missiles. After receiving an honorable discharge, Robert went on to work with local Veteran Service Organizations and as the Program Coordinator for CompeerCORPS in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. He has made it his life’s work to help veterans reintegrate and achieve the ambitions they set out to accomplish. 

Robert was the recipient of a 2024 Freedom Medal, awarded by the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association, for his accomplishments in service, dedication to the country, and his local community.
