George Holman

George Holman serves as the Associate Administrator for SBA's Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs.  In this role, Mr. Holman leads a cross functional team and he is responsible for developing and overseeing the agency’s federal legislative engagement with Capitol Hill.

Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Holman spent 12 years in the United States Senate for Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) in several senior roles working with the broader Democratic caucus on messaging and policy guidance for a wide-ranging legislative portfolio.  Mr. Holman also worked on federal policy initiatives for Everytown for Gun Safety.

Mr. Holman earned a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a master’s degree from the George Washington University School of Political Management.
