WYOMING'S Women's Network of Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) The Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET), a program of the SBA's Office of Women's Business Ownership is co-sponsored by the Wyoming District SBA Office and the Wyoming Women's Business Center (WWBC). WNET matches successful entrepreneurial women (mentors) with women business owners whose companies are ready to grow (protégées) and/or women who would like to start their own businesses.
WNET services are provided through the WNET Women's Business Connection Roundtables, where participants meet to receive practical support and guidance from a wide range of
experienced mentors in an informal,
ongoing relationship. There are mentoring opportunities across the state. To participate in the conference calls, or for more information on Roundtables,
contact Debra Farris, Women's Business Ownership Representative for the SBA Wyoming
Office, at (307) 261-6510 or (800) 776-9144 ext. 1 or by e-mail at
debra.farris@sba.gov.; or

closest to you. You may also check out

to learn more about this rewarding program. The WNET Roundtable offers what no other networking
group does: public and private sector individuals that provide a unique array of contacts, services,
and suggestions for women business owners. Participants receive practical support and guidance
from a range of individuals with a wealth of experience in an informal, ongoing relationship--the most
effective way to build a network. WNET is a very decentralized program, with various formats and focus groups found across the country. This diversity is intentional so that each WNET Roundtable can tailor the program to meet the needs of existing and prospective women business owners in their local area. We currently develop roundtable meetings throughout the State of Wyoming and encourage your participation when one is scheduled in your community. If you are interested in starting a roundtable meeting in your area, please contact the Wyoming Women's Business Center or the Wyoming District SBA Office. | ||
