504 Authorization File Library

Use these documents to prepare your 504 loan authorization package.

The 504 Authorization File Library ZIP file includes the 504 Authorization Wizard, required files to run the wizard, and the boilerplate.



Tip -- If you are not interested in downloading and installing the Wizard now, you can view the boilerplate.



Requirements

• A computer running under Windows 7 or Windows 10.
• Microsoft Word 2010 or 2013, or 2016. 

Installation Instructions

1. Download the ZIP file from this page.
2. Save the zip file to C:\SBA on your computer.
3. Unzip the file by double clicking it
4. Extract the contents to the same folder (C:\SBA).
5. Double click CopyTemplateFiles.bat in this folder. This copies all of the necessary template files to the proper directories.
6. Open Word and check the following settings:
   1. Go to File | Options | Trust Center| Trust Center Settings. Under Macro Settings, select the Enable All Macro radio button.
   2. Go to File | Options | Advanced | Display section – make sure ”View Windows in Taskbar” is checked.
   3. Go to File | Options | Advanced | Cut, Copy, and Paste section – make sure “Smart cut and paste” is unchecked.
7. Open the 504 Wizard 2018.dotm.

You should now be able to use the 504AuthorizationWizard on a computer running Microsoft Word 2010 / 2013 / 2016.

*NOTE - For the 25 Year debenture language to display in the document, the 25 Year debenture radio button has to be selected in the Debenture Information section. This option is selected on the third screen of the 504 Authorization Wizard form.
